CT8 PRODUCT INFORMATION

CT8 PRODUCT INFORMATION

The bed is made of Meehanite cast iron with two heat treatments and artificial aging process (vibration), inclined bed design with 45° in oblique Y-axis, which provides high rigidity and stability, excellent thermal stability and torsion resistance for production. AII linear axes of the machine are equipped with 55 mm linear guide rails (size 55 mm), which together with the high strength castings provide reliable stability during heavy cutting. The right spindle is adapted by manual scraping to ensure the coaxiality and parallelism between the two spindles, which ensures high precision co-operation between the two spindles.

PRODUCT ADVANTAGES

The maximum travelling speed of the machine is up to 30/12/30 m/min (X/Y/Z), and the process stroke is Φ450/±60/850mm (X/Y/Z), and the whole machine adopts roller guide rail, which improves the high rigidity and stability under the condition of large load.

Left spindles come standard with power 15/18.5 kW providing a maximum torque of 268 Nm and a maximum speed of 4000 rpm, and right spindles come standard with a 103Nm torque and 15kw electric spindle (right side) with a maximum speed of 5000 rpm. Considering the hardware requirements for collaborative cut-off and turning/milling processes, the two ends are designed with A2-8 and A2-6 structures respectively. And in order to improve operability, the left/right spindles are designed with mirrored speeds, so that the same steering code can be used to complete the same rotational setting for both spindles without the need to consider the problem of reverse cutting.

The 12-station turret with BMT65 as standard, verified by the design structure, ensures that there is no dead angle for positive and negative tool mounting angles. As well as the servo motor tool change solution, it maximises the execution efficiency of the turret and the repetitive positioning accuracy of the tool.
